# Smartly for Spotify

---

## Known limitations for Spotify

- Automatically managing budgets across channels is currently not supported for Spotify due to Spotify API limitations in which decreasing or increasing daily budgets either pauses the delivery + requires a new delivery or the changes take effect on the following day. This is not compatible with other platforms. You can automatically manage your budget *within*Spotify however.
- Triggers are supported but Spotify API limitations pause the campaign delivery for a specific time period whenever a trigger makes changes. This is being mitigated with a notification on the UI so you have full visibility.

### Connect your account

### Start creating ads

1. In the main navigation, click **Media > Campaign Workspaces**.
2. Create a [Workspace](https://docs.smartly.io/docs/introduction-to-workspaces).
3. Create a [campaign](https://docs.smartly.io/docs/create-a-regular-campaign-manually), [ad sets](https://docs.smartly.io/docs/spotify-ad-set-settings) and [ads](https://docs.smartly.io/docs/create-spotify-ads).
4. Create an image, video or audio [Template](https://docs.smartly.io/docs/create-and-manage-templates).
5. Set up and publish your campaign with the Template and [Feed](https://docs.smartly.io/v1/docs/create-and-connect-automation-feeds).

### Analyze campaign performance

1. In the main navigation, click **Intelligence > Reporting**.
2. Click the Spotify tab to start [building reports](https://docs.smartly.io/docs/create-a-new-report).

### Manage your budgets automatically with PBA

1. In the main navigation, click **Intelligence > Reporting > Optimization**.
2. Create a [Budget Pool](https://docs.smartly.io/docs/create-and-manage-budget-pools).
3. Set up [Predictive Budget Allocation](https://docs.smartly.io/docs/enable-predictive-budget-allocation-pba).

### Trigger changes and notification emails

1. In the main navigation, click **Intelligence > Triggers**.
